The aim of this thesis was to develop a way of working or a new service model to increase the awareness of immigrants and people with an international background about the possibility of acquisitions to become an entrepreneur in Finland. The client is Suomen Yrittäjät, Federation of Finnish Enterprises. The thesis is a research and development project that explores the possibilities of acquisitions from the perspective of transnationals. Central to this thesis is the identification of their entrepreneurial competence. The framework first examines transnational entrepreneurship in Finland and deals with the change of ownership theme. The core of the thesis lies in the entrepreneurial skills requirements of the EntreComp model, which are compared to the skills requirements of transnational entrepreneurs. Thematic interviews and observation were used as research methods. First, the requirements and opportunities of the change of ownership process were clarified through expert interviews. Then the target group interviews were used to clarify the thoughts of transnationals who are interested in entrepreneurship or start-up entrepreneurs about entrepreneurship and their level of knowledge and interest in acquiring. In these interviews, the Bears cards were also used. As a result of this study, the transnationals feel that they master the entrepreneurial competence requirements of the EntreComp model very well. They would seem to have even more resilience than entrepreneurs on average. A transnational entrepreneur or someone who is planning to become an entrepreneur needs the most support for understanding Finnish culture and business field. Very little is known about the activities of Suomen Yrittäjät as professionals in the change of ownership process. Those who are planning or considering the acquisition do not know what they should know or where to get information. Based on the information that is gained from this research project, ways of operations are proposed in which transnational acquisition candidates will get the information they need on acquisition opportunities and entrepreneurial cultural competence....
